pvi collective mentorship program
During 2004, pvi collective ran a series of workshops for Curtin University Visual Art students. Under the umbrella title ‘performing interventions’, students were encouraged to work site specifically and develop a live aspect to their practice. As an extension of this unit, the pvi/NRLA Midland mentorship program has been created to bridge the gap for emerging and graduating artists, enabling them to continue to explore and investigate their ideas with ongoing support, critique and feedback.
Artists who participated in the pvi/NRLA Midland mentorship program are Greg Burley, Laura Johnson and Ofa Fotu.
Laura and Ofa have been supported to participate in the program with a Young People and the Arts grant from ArtsWA.
